I am so excited to be bringing Adventure Babies classes to the north of Manchester!
I am a mummy, a keen sewer and a qualified teacher and see every day what a positive and magical impact story telling has on young minds and I can’t wait to share this with you and your little ones too!

Come and spend 45 minutes immersing yourself and your little one in a new story. Classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.

Hello Adventurers! I’m Katie!
I am so excited to be bringing Adventure Babies to the North of Manchester.
A little bit about me.. I have 3 young children who have all been immersed in stories since before they were born. My older two loved Adventure Babies classes when they were younger and my newest addition is ready to take on storytelling adventures – they really are never to young to enjoy stories.
My eldest has just turned 5 and her imagination is amazing – she is always making up her own stories based on books we have read and loves bringing stories to life and reading her own familiar books. My biggest boy (as he likes to be called since becoming a big brother) is almost 3 and he will drop any toy or activity for the chance to snuggle up and listen to a story – if you sit down, he is straight over to you with a book to read a story. My newest addition is now a few months old and snuggles up at story time, enjoying voices, pictures and storytime interaction.
Having been a primary school teacher for over 10 years and seeing every day what a positive impact story telling has on young minds, I knew I wanted to do more to share these experiences with children from an even younger age. I have such a love and passion for books and storytelling and want to spread this love with as many children as possible.
If I ever get spare time, I love to get my machine out and sew clothes for myself and my children. A hobby which gives me some ‘me time’ and something I enjoy to do with my children sat on my knee too.
However, seeing the magic come alive when a story is opened is irreplaceable and something I am excited to share with you and your babies, toddlers and children.
Let’s go on this amazing adventure together! I can’t wait to see you all really soon and share some amazing adventures together in Oldham and Prestwich.
