Sensory Storytelling Toddler and Baby Classes Oldham – Prestwich – Haslingden
Hi, I’m Katie!
I am so excited to be bringing Adventure Babies classes to Bury, Prestwich and the surrounding areas!
I have been a primary school teacher for nearly 10 years and see every day what a positive impact story telling has on young minds and I can’t wait to share this with you and your little ones too!
I have 2 young children who have both been immersed in stories since before they were born and both loved Adventure Babies classes when they were younger. My eldest has just turned 4 and her imagination is amazing – she is always making up her own stories based on books we have read. She is even able to ‘read’ (recite) so many familiar stories, which she enjoys sharing with her younger brother. My youngest is 2 and he will already drop any toy or activity for the chance to snuggle up and listen to a story.
Seeing the magic come alive when a story is opened is something I am excited to share with you and your babies, toddlers and children.

Join us for our Saturday specials at The Phoenix Youth and Community centre in Prestwich, in May, June and July, for award winning interactive storytelling sessions with story based sensory and messy play.
Each week, Katie brings brilliant books to life through interactive storytelling, and provides lots of opportunities for your little one to explore and learn through play.
Come along to the baby, toddler and preschooler classes, with sessions open to children aged from birth to 4 years old.
The Phoenix Centre is situated in St. Mary’s park. The park has a free car park which can be access from St. Mary’s Road. The venue boasts easy access to the local shops, cafes and fantastic park, for a lovely mooch and play with your friends after the class.

4 Week Course | Start Date: July 21st, 2025
Oldham Adventurers!! Join me at Infinity Dance Studio for a 4 week block of sensory and messy play storytelling adventures!
Classes will begin on Monday 21st July!
Each week we will spend 45 minutes immersing ourselves in a new story. Classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.

Mixed Adventurers – for babies from birth up to 4 years (perfect for siblings and friend groups)
Active Adventurers – for babies who are on the move and can crawl up to 4 years old
Mini Adventurers – for babies from birth up to 18 months old (crawlers, cruisers and walkers). Some babies in this class will be mobile but it is not the most mobile class.
1 Week Course | Start Date: July 22nd, 2025
Rossendale Adventurers!! Join me at Jenni’s House for another one off class including sensory and messy play storytelling adventures!
Class will be on Tuesday 22nd July!
We will spend 45 minutes immersing ourselves in a new story. Classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.

Mini Adventurers – for babies from birth up to 12 months old (crawlers and cruisers). Some babies in this class will be mobile but it is not the most mobile class.
Active Adventurers – for babies who are on the move and can crawl up to 4 years old. This is the most mobile class but younger siblings are welcome to join and receive a 50% discount on their booking.
