As a busy mum of 3 girls I have tried many baby and toddler classes including Adventure Babies as a customer. I loved the concept of the wonderful art of storytelling being the focal point of each session. With the sensory props and messy play being used to aid babies development and understanding. As a result, I saw the benefit the differing activities could have. I wanted to join to be part of the Adventure myself! Hearing snippets of other parents weeks, learning what new thing each baby or toddler had mastered (and the things which had gone less well!). It was a refreshing way to break down barriers and get to know other parents and carers – always handy to pick up hints and tips!

My love of reading started many years ago. As a child, I recall family holidays and the thrill of spending my holiday money in a bookshop, savouring the smells of the freshly printed books. As an adult, one of my all-time favourite books has to be The Kite Runner. When it comes to sharing books with my children we have explored everything from Thats Not My… to Julia Donaldson, Jill Murphy and now my elder two are free readers and they are sharing great new reads with me!

Although I started life with dreams of being a dancer, I studied Politics at University before a career in banking, where I also qualified as an Accountant. For the past year I have loved watching little ones develop through leading baby and toddler classes. I love how each Adventure develops new skills and links to the EYFS, proving we are always learning, regardless of our age!
