Hello, I’m Rachel and I’m delighted to be bringing the award- winning Adventure Babies classes to the Cheshire Central, South and West areas. At Adventure Babies, we bring stories to life through sensory stimulation to support their overall development.
Having been a Learning Disability Nurse, Health Visitor and a Family nurse for 12 years, I know first hand the benefits to babies and children’s development in association with books. The more we read to our babies and talk to our babies, the more we are helping to shape their developing brain. As parents, we can really help to shape our babies brain through reading, talking, singing and sensory messy play.
I recently took the decision to make a career change and help continue Adventure Babies in Cheshire. I am really looking forward to starting my Adventure Babies classes adventure!
A Bit About Me
I am an outgoing, kind and friendly person who enjoys working with children and families and I love seeing their children learn and grow. I have vast experience of child development and running baby groups as a nurse and I understand how important the first 0-5 years are to children’s overall development. I enjoy reading and love how there is no limit on a child’s imagination.
I am a Mum to two energetic boys aged 7 and 4. I also have a step daughter who is 19 years old who I am very close to. Family is really important to me. I am also a Reiki master practitioner and I am currently studying crystal healing.
Adventure Babies classes are educational, fun and diverse, allowing children to learn, play and interact in their own unique ways. I will endeavour to deliver fun, fulfilling, nurturing and developmental classes for all children utilising the skills and knowledge I have gained through working as a nurse.
At Adventure Babies, we provide a relaxed and welcoming environment. I am more then happy to share any health advice if you have any questions before, during or after classes. I know what it is like having a baby and all the worries that comes with parenting.
I am really excited to start my Adventure Babies adventure and I can’t wait to meet you and your little adventurers in a class soon.
