About me:
Hi! I’m Beccy, Mum to two, growing-up-fast boys, Finley and Theo. Theo and I attended Adventure Babies whilst I was on maternity leave. We had so much fun, that when I saw an opportunity to take over the North Somerset area, I didn’t hesitate to jump on board for an exciting new chapter in our lives!
I’m a huge book lover and read to both boys since before they were born. We still read multiple books a night at bedtime. I’m really pleased that they have followed in my footsteps and are now fully fledged bookworms! Even now, Theo gets excited when he sees my Adventure Babies boxes of goodies, he can’t wait to dive in!
Since having Finley, I’ve always been keen to work with children. My previous day job lasted 14 years at the same company where I held various roles in a busy office in the utilities industry. Throughout my time here, I had the opportunity to be a reading volunteer and spent time on a weekly basis supporting local primary school children improve their reading abilities. This was the highlight of my week! I loved to see the children grow in confidence.
I’m so happy to be part of the Adventure Babies team and to be doing something I’m passionate about. I’ve shared stories and adventures with hundreds and hundreds of families and still get so much enjoyment from watching your little ones engage with the adventures.
