Hi, my name is Toni and I run Adventure Babies in Southampton and the surrounding areas.
I’ve always had a love of books and remember the highlight of my week growing up was a visit to the library with my mum, we couldn’t get the books out fast enough! Later in life, I found a love of teaching, and after working as a teaching assistant I went on to University to study Education and Psychology. After obtaining my degree, I got a christmas temp job at a coffee shop and ended up running my own branches and staying for 9 years! After having my daughter, I realised it was time to get a work/life balance that suited me and to find something I feel passionate about…. that is when I discovered Adventure Babies!
As a nervous first time Mum, I have realised how valuable baby classes can be, and what a difference they can make. My little one used to cry through them, but going to a class with an amazing class leader and a great, supportive network of mums made me feel safe and confident and understand that it was completely normal! This is at the heart of what I want to achieve. As soon as I found Adventure Babies, I fell in love with the concept. What better way to enjoy time with your baby than with a story, sensory play and messy play all rolled into one! You really get to go on an adventure and explore every week!
I cannot wait to meet you and your little ones and share with you this crazy adventure of parenthood!
