Adventure Babies – Bitterne United Reformed Church
Join us for a magical storytelling adventure designed especially for babies and toddlers!
Each week, little explorers are transported into a new story through immersive sensory play, music, movement, props, and activities carefully designed to support their development. Adventure Babies classes encourage communication, imagination, early literacy, and confidence, while giving parents and carers a wonderful opportunity to bond with their little one.
Our Bitterne venue offers a spacious and welcoming environment where families can relax, explore, and connect with other local parents.
0–12 Months Class
Perfect for babies from birth to around 12 months. Sessions focus on sensory exploration, bonding, language development, and supporting your baby’s growing curiosity about the world around them. Whether your baby is cuddled in your arms, rolling, sitting, or crawling, they’ll enjoy a rich sensory experience tailored to their stage of development.
0–24 Months Class
Designed for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, this class offers even more opportunities for movement, exploration, and interactive play. Little ones can immerse themselves in the story, engage with sensory activities, and develop confidence through shared experiences. Younger siblings are welcome and receive a 50% discount on their booking.
Active Adventurers (0–24 Months)
Our Active Adventurers class brings together babies and toddlers of mixed ages in one fun and engaging session. This group is perfect for families who enjoy a varied and sociable environment, where younger babies can observe and learn from older children, while toddlers benefit from helping, sharing, and exploring alongside little ones at different stages of development.
Activities are carefully adapted to suit a range of ages and abilities, ensuring every child can participate in the story and sensory experiences in their own way. Whether your little one is just beginning to discover the world around them or already on the move, they’ll find plenty to engage, inspire, and excite them.
This mixed-age class creates a wonderfully supportive atmosphere where siblings, friends, and children at different developmental stages can enjoy the Adventure Babies experience together.
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is followed by time to chat with other parents and carers.
