Come and join our BRAND NEW Whitley Bay Sensory Storytelling classes at The Bay every Friday! For our launch of these classes, we have a 2 week mini week course during March so you can come and see what we have to offer!
The Bay has a wonderful play area with a large separate area for babies and lots of space for toddlers. The Bay are offering Adventure Babies customers 20% off the usual cost of play – 6 – 12 months £4 or 12 months+ £7. Pre-booking is encouraged and you will be sent a booking code to use via email. It has an amazing café too with delicious food and hot drinks which you can enjoy before or after classes. You do not need to book to use the café and tables.
Each week we bring a different brilliant book to life using interactive storytelling, sensory props, lights, parachutes and much more!Â
Our sensory classes are very interactive and we have so much in store for you! We plan each session carefully to bring brilliant books to life for your little one using:
a different exciting story theme each week with puppets and props themed sensory and messy play beautiful handmade parachutes with sensory lights time to explore and play with your little one time to meet and chat to other parents supports a love of reading from a very early ageAll of this fun supports language and communication development whilst also stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections. We are the most unique baby and toddler group around!
Venue?
The Bay. 55 Marden Rd, Whitley Bay NE26 2JW. There is some free parking street outside of the venue up the street and paid parking in the surrounding streets.

Who for?
Our classes are separated by developmental stage and you are welcome to book the most suitable one for your child.
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventures – for more active babies who are on the move including crawling, walking and up to age 3.
