Fairford Leys PAYG Class- Monday 11th July

1 Week Course | Start Date: July 11th, 2022

Each week we will be bringing a different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more! Classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.

There is a car park directly outside the hall. Please don’t enter the room more than 5 minutes before your class is due to start. Class timings are carefully planned to ensure everything is in place ready for your class.

Your safety:

Please be assured that we are continuing to consider safety measures; ventilating the space and sanitising hands before class. If your little one likes to chew, then please bring a teether for them to chew on, as we want to avoid them chewing on the handmade and sanitised resources. Thank you. Please also be aware that although I do endeavor to make sure activities are age appropriate, it is always your responsibility to make sure your little one is using resources appropriately and under your supervision within classes, at all times.

Illness:

If you or your baby are unwell, please do not attend your session and send me an email or text to let me know if you can.

Messy Play:

The messy play is one element of the session that your baby may not have tried before! Babies can take part as much or as little as they like and some dive straight in whereas others take a more gentle approach. The benefits of messy play are numerous even from a young age, please see some below.

  • Babies develop concepts of size and shape
  • Babies discover different shapes, colours and textures
  • It encourages a positive attitude to new experiences
  • Builds independence through choice
  • Explore, create and learn through play
  • Use all of the senses
  • Build fine and gross motor skills
  • Teaches cause and effect

I would just ask that you make sure your little one is cleaned up before accessing any of the other prop stations, just to ensure the messy play isn’t spread. Some weeks will be messier than others, but please bring a towel. Babies can access messy activities in a nappy (normal not swimming), vest or full clothes

I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones, so we can start our adventures!

Hello, my name’s Charlotte and I am the proud owner of Adventure Babies Bucks, new baby classes in Buckinghamshire. I’ve been an avid reader, for as long as I can remember and I think it’s so important to foster a love of books in children from as young as possible! I’ve read to both of my children every night since they were born. It’s my favourite part of the day.

I have loved attending baby classes myself and when I saw Adventure Babies I was really excited about bringing this new class to my area.

I live with my husband and our 2 children, Jack and Luna. Whilst on Maternity Leave with Luna, I decided I didn’t want to go back to my office job. I wanted to do something that was not only fun, but something that was rewarding, too. I found exactly that in Adventure Babies!

When I had my son, I found being a new mum could be a bit of a lonely place, sometimes. I hope that by coming to my Adventure Babies classes, it will give you a chance to have a chat with other parents and just to have some fun with your little one.

I can’t wait to meet you and your little one’s to go on a sensory storytelling adventure with our new baby classes in Buckinghamshire!
