Hello, I’m Helen!
I absolutely love Adventure Babies because it has books at the heart of every Adventure and I’m a real book worm! From the moment my son Lyons was born I read to him. Whilst I was breast-feeding it was Rudyard Kipling’s – The Jungle Book and now he’s a little older we choose a different book each night to help him wind-down before bed.
My whole career has been built upon, not only bettering my own life, but enhancing, enabling and enriching the lives of others. Over the last 10 years I have worked in education in different capacities, but always with people and always in a pastoral role.
My most recent job was working as a Welfare Officer at a University. However, after the birth of my son I decided I no longer wished to commute for 2 hours everyday and I wanted a job which I could find just as fulfilling but closer to home. Having attended different baby classes with Lyons I realised that I would love to do something similar, but I wanted a class that felt not only stimulating but also educational and which built on literature and language.
Voila! Adventure Babies Waltham Forest, Epping and Ilford was born.
I have a very friendly and approachable manner and I love spending time with babies and adults alike. I would be honoured to be given the opportunity to take you and your little ones on an Adventure to remember!
