Hello, I’m Kathy and I am so excited to have joined the Adventure Babies story & sensory adventures team, leading baby classes in Exeter, and Budleigh. In common with Emma, who founded Adventure Babies over three years ago, I too have a long and well-established career in education. As a primary teacher I saw at once what a brilliant experience Adventure Babies offered parents and very young children. Sharing a book, or engaging in messy play with your child is an excellent way to bond with your child it is also a great way to help build language skills. I have seen first hand how much enjoyment my grandson gained from each activity when he attended Adventure Babies and the amazing benefits he gained from the sessions. He absolutely loves books and reading and will happily ‘read’ books to himself retelling the stories in his own words. I can’t wait to start my new venture providing this opportunity for joy and development to parents and their little ones in Devon & Somerset. I know we are all going to have a fantastic time!
