Adventure Babies classes in Bath

Hi,

I’m Emma and I am really enjoying running Adventure Babies Bath.

I have always really enjoyed books and reading and I love reading to my two boys (aged 4 and 2), which I’ve done since they were both babies. It’s great to see them enjoying the stories and bringing the same books to me time and time again. I am over the moon that they both have a love of books too so I can continue reading with them whilst they grow.

I have seen both their language and communication skills develop through the books we read together and with my older son the stories lead to great discussions with lots of questions from him, so I can see he is really learning as we read.

My background is in Science and I have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for nearly 20 years, but after the birth of my second son I decided it was time for a change. I attended an Adventure Babies class with Emma in Bristol earlier this year with my youngest son and he got so much from just one session! The sensory props really stimulated him, prompting reactions I hadn’t seen before. The messy play was also a big hit and I took home so many ideas from the class to do at home, which my 3 year old loves too. I would have loved to continue going to Adventure Babies and really wished there were some classes closer to me in Bath. After discussing this with Emma I knew then that starting Adventure Babies in Bath was the perfect career change for me. Working with babies and children is something I’ve always wanted to do and storytelling is something which has always come naturally to me.

I am so excited about meeting the babies and parents who come to my classes. I am naturally a very smiley person and love to have fun, so my priority is to ensure everyone has fun at our story & sensory adventures in a very relaxed and nurturing environment. The babies will get so much from the sessions and develop a natural love of books, whilst the grown-ups will also have fun, meet other parents and won’t have to worry about cleaning up afterwards!

I would love you to join my adventures. Please contact me at emmab@adventurebabies.co.uk if you have any questions or for further information.
