Come and join our Tuesday Sensory Storytelling classes at Captain Ted’s in Gosforth! We have a brand new 6 week course during September and October and our Gosforth Sensory Storytelling classes are jam packed full of fun! Please note this term is 6 weeks long with a break week on Tuesday 13th September where there will be no classes.
Each week we will be bringing a different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more!
Our Tuesday sensory classes are very interactive and we have so much in store for you! Our sessions are carefully planned to bring brilliant books to life for your little one:
a different exciting story theme each week with puppets and props themed sensory and messy play beautiful handmade parachutes with sensory lights time to explore and play with your little one time to meet and chat to other parents supports a love of reading from a very early ageAll of this fun supports language and communication development whilst also stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.
Venue?
The Gosforth Sensory Storytelling classes are at Captain Ted’s Soft Play Centre. It is located near Gosforth High Street and has parking straight outside the venue in the surrounding streets which is free for 2 hours and is also close to the large Sainsburys car park. It has easily accessible baby changing facilities, space for pushchairs and a cafe and a soft play for little ones to enjoy before or after classes.

Tuesday 6th September – Tuesday 18th October 2022.

Who for?
Our classes are separated by developmental stage and you are welcome to book the most suitable one for your child.
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventures – for more active babies who are on the move including crawling, walking and up to age 3.
