We are thrilled to be restarting classes on a Tuesday in a brand new venue; Captain Ted’s in Gosforth! We have a brand new 5 week course in April 2021 and our Gosforth Sensory Storytelling classes are jam packed full of fun!
Each week we will be bringing a different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more! Classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.
Our number one priority is safety and we have therefore introduced new measures following government guidelines. Gosforth Sensory Storytelling classes include smaller group sizes, safe distancing, use of hand sanitiser as well as further format changes. We have worked hard to still keep all of the Adventure Babies magic!
We know that many parents are keen to meet face to face and enjoy the countless benefits of our classes so we’re really pleased to get started again.
Captain Ted’s is located near Gosforth High Street and has parking straight outside the venue in the surrounding streets which is free for 2 hours. It is also close to the large Sainsburys car park. It has easily accessible baby changing facilities, space for pushchairs and, when restrictions allow, a cafe and a soft play for little ones to enjoy before or after classes.
In response to COVID-19, Captain Ted’s has introduced a number of health and safety measures to ensure everyone who visits the building feels safe. These include social distancing markers, hand sanitiser stations and a one way system around the centre.
Tuesday 13th April – Tuesday 11th May 2021.

Our classes sizes are small and very LIMITED.
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventures – for more active babies who are on the move. Parents are responsible for the social distancing of their little ones.
What’s it all about?
