Our live sensory storytelling sessions are returning and we are so happy to be running classes at our well-loved venue, Ouseburn Community Centre on a Wednesday! Come and join us in September for a jam packed 4 week block of classes!
Following a lengthy lockdown during which we’ve been enjoying weekly online Zoom sessions from home, we’re now ready to bring back our physical sessions. Our number one priority is safety and we have introduced new safety measures following government guidelines. These include smaller group sizes, safe distancing, use of hand sanitiser along with further format changes.
Our 4 week block of classes will be bring different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more!
Ouseburn sensory storytelling classes support language and communication development as well as stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.
We know that many parents are keen to meet face to face and enjoy the countless benefits of our classes so we’re really pleased to get started again.
Our Ouseburn 4 week block of classes will take place at Ouseburn Community Centre. It is a lovely, bright and friendly building. There is some parking available on-street in the surrounding streets and a small car park behind the centre. Classes will be held in the main hall. It is fully accessible with plenty of space inside the building or the hall for pushchairs. It has a nice seating area in the foyer and easily accessible baby changing facilities.
In response to COVID-19, Ouseburn Community Centre have introduced a number of health and safety measures to ensure everyone who visits the building feels safe including hand sanitiser stations and a one way system around the centre.
Our 4 week block of classes begin on Wednesday 9th September – Wednesday 30th September 2020.

We will be running 2 smaller groups for different developmental stages of your little one:
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies from birth to approx 8 months. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventurers – for more active babies. Even with all of our extra precautions in place, we must stipulate that during the sessions you are responsible for socially distancing your child. Adventure Babies and myself cannot take any responsibility for how the children interact with each other inside or outside of any of the classes. By booking a mobile baby class, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
What’s it all about?
