We are so excited to announce another wonderful pop up sensory storytelling session at the amazing Wheelbirks Parlour! Come and join us as we bring a brilliant book to life!
We’ll be hosting our event outside in their stunning orchard area, which provides some tree shade and a wonderful backdrop for a story. As this is an outdoor event, please bring hats, suncream and anything else you might need! If we are unlucky with the weather on the day, we will take our session indoors in a specially reserved area.
10.30am Mini Adventurers – mobile babies and toddlers to 4
11.40am Tiny Adventurers – non mobile babies from birth
Our sensory storytelling classes are very interactive and we have so much in store for you! What can you expect on the day?

🌟themed sensory and messy play
🌟beautiful handmade parachutes with sensory lights
🌟time to explore and play with your little one
🌟time to meet and chat to other parents
🌟supports a love of reading from a very early age
All of this fun supports language and communication development whilst also stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.
Venue?
Wheelbirks Parlour, Wheelbirks Farm North Cottage, Stocksfield NE43 7HY. There is free parking on site and easily accessible baby changing facilities. This venue is wonderful and perfect for grabbing lunch, cakes and their famous ice cream, enjoying their children’s indoor play area as well as the beautiful orchard. Who for?
Our classes are separated by developmental stage and you are welcome to book the most suitable one for your child.
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventures – for more active babies who are on the move including crawling, walking and up to age 4.
