We are so excited to announce we are bringing our storytelling classes back to St Andrew’s URC Church in Monkseaton! Our classes in Monkseaton have always been so popular and we can’t wait to get back to this amazing venue and fabulous area! Come and join us at our one-off launch event to see what it’s all about before we begin a brand new term on Thursdays in September.
Each week we will be bringing a different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more!
Our classes in Monkseaton are very interactive and we have so much in store for you! Our sessions are carefully planned to bring brilliant books to life for your little one
a different exciting story theme each week with puppets and props themed sensory and messy play beautiful handmade parachutes with sensory lights time to explore and play with your little one time to meet and chat to other parents supports a love of reading from a very early ageAll of this fun supports language and communication development whilst also stimulating all of the senses to build and strengthen brain connections.
Venue?
St Andrews United Reformed Church is a lovely, bright and friendly building in central Monkseaton. There is parking available on-street in the surrounding streets outside of the church. Classes will be held in the main hall. It is fully accessible with plenty of space inside the building or the hall for pushchairs. It has a nice seating area in the foyer and easily accessible baby changing facilities.

Who for?
Our classes sizes are separated by developmental stage and you are welcome to choose the one that suits your little one:
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling. Siblings welcome.
Mini Adventures – for more active babies who are on the move including crawlers and walkers up to 4 years old. Siblings welcome.
