Our live sensory storytelling sessions are returning this August and we are so happy to be running classes at a brand new venue in Blyth on a Thursday! The eagerly awaited return of face to face Adventure Babies sessions is finally here! To celebrate our return we are hosting a special one off Blyth sensory storytelling launch event!
Following a lengthy lockdown during which we’ve been enjoying weekly online Zoom sessions from home, we’re now ready to bring back our physical sessions. Our number one priority is safety and we have introduced new safety measures following government guidelines. These include smaller group sizes, safe distancing, use of hand sanitiser along with further format changes.
Each week we will be bringing a different brilliant book to life through interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more!
We know that many parents are keen to meet face to face and enjoy the countless benefits of our classes so we’re really pleased to get started again.
Our brand new Blyth sensory storytelling sessions will take place at Briardale House, a lovely community centre. Our classes will be held in their large, light bright and airy hall. There’s car parking on site, easy access for pushchairs and toilet facilities. There’s also the added bonus of a brilliant community cafe for the all important coffee and catch up after adventure time! Check out their website by clicking here.
In response to COVID-19, Briardale House have introduced a number of health and safety measures to ensure everyone who visits the building feels safe including temperature check on arrival, hand sanitiser stations and a one way system around the centre.
We are hosting a one off event before our weekly classes begin in September on Thursday 27th August 2020.

We will be running 2 smaller groups for different developmental stages of your little one:
Tiny Adventurers – for the youngest, non-mobile babies from birth to approx 8 months. They will be lying down or sitting rather than crawling.
Mini Adventurers – for more active babies. Even with all of our extra precautions in place, we must stipulate that during the sessions you are responsible for socially distancing your child. Adventure Babies and myself cannot take any responsibility for how the children interact with each other inside or outside of any of the classes. By booking a mobile baby class, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
What’s it all about?
