Join us for a truly incredible 1 hour one off Adventure Babies special as we welcome Lucy Wraight, local children’s author and illustrator as she shares her wonderful book ‘The Seals of St Mary’s’! During the session, we’ll listen to Lucy read her story and talk about the background and the important work she is supporting in the North East. You can then enjoy themed play areas including some messy play and our beautiful dark den, enjoy a complimentary cuppa and a chat to Lucy before ending with calming parachute time. You don’t want to miss it! Our session is for all ages 0-3 years old.
Lucy’s delightful children’s picture book is based on a true story where Harry and Darcy visit St Mary’s Lighthouse and learn all about grey seals from volunteers of the St Mary’s Island Wildlife Conservation Society. Full of bright, colourful illustrations, interactive pages and creative rhymes, this story is sure to delight children of all ages and their grown-ups, too! Lucy is a huge inspiration and a portion of the profits from her books go to St Mary’s Island Wildlife Conservation Society towards their mission to protect the animal inhabitants of the island.
Lucy will have some books for sale at the special but to buy yours in advance, please visit https://www.thewraightstuff.co.uk/product/the-seals-of-st-marys-pre-order
